The prominent publishing company revealed its future lineup of titles via its official blog. This colorful selection features not just manga but also light novels, art books and anime guides. Highlights from the collection include two different Naruto spinoff series, a detailed Spy x Family anime companion and a story collection from horror icon Junji Ito. Shingo Kimura's manga adaptation of Sasuke's Story: The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust is being published in English for the first time. Based on the light novel by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and Jun Esaka, this tale chronicles Sasuke's search for the Sage of Six Paths, which leads to the discovery of a twisted scheme unfolding at an astronomical observatory. Boruto fans may recognize this storyline, as it was included in the anime version of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The other Naruto spinoff is Natsuo Sai's manga adaptation of Naruto: Konoha's Story-The Steam Ninja Scrolls. Written by Masashi Kishimoto and Sho Hinata, this tale follows Kakashi, Guy and Mirai's quest to find a hot spring, from which they are eventually diverted after discovering an intricate plot involving a string of strange kidnappings.

Junji Ito's Alley anthology features a collection of 10 iconic stories from the famed mangaka, who is known for his masterful portrayal of psychological and body horror. The blog's synopsis highlights specific tales involving an "all-you-can-eat ice cream truck that is more creepy than sweet" and "an eerie town with no addresses or roads." Earlier this year, VIZ also released a free digital version of Welcome to the Ito-Verse, a sampling of tales from the artist's prolific body of work.
