Aquaman fans just received a closer look at the superhero's new stealth suit, featured in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, courtesy of DC Comics.

The comic book publisher recently shared on Instagram the covers for the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom comic book prequel, which will be released on Oct. 31. The photo cover features Jason Momoa in costume as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, who is wearing the stealth suit that has previously been used in the DC Extended Universe sequel's marketing materials. However, this new photo is the closest look fans have gotten of the stealth suit, revealing just how textured this alternate suit for Aquaman is. In the first trailer for The Lost Kingdom, fans briefly saw Aquaman wearing the suit, which also revealed that the suit is capable of turning its wearer invisible.

Lost Kingdom Synopsis Teases Black Manta's Power

"Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force," reads the synopsis for the DCEU sequel. "To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction."

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) recently revealed that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had been rated PG-13 for "sci-fi violence and some language." Besides Momoa, the hotly-anticipated follow-up to the $1 billion smash hit Aquaman (2018) features the returning talents of Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Amber Heard as Mera, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

Aquaman 2 Concludes the DCEU

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be the 15th and final installment in the DCEU, which began in 2013 with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. While Momoa's Aquaman is not yet one of the DCEU characters confirmed to be returning for the new shared universe, James Gunn's DC Universe, Aquaman director James Wan does have ideas for a third film in the series.

"If and when there is a third one, that's what it should be; it should be growing these characters because I think we've set up certain things in a good place in the second movie that you can definitely draw upon in a third," Wan explained. "I don't have any stories, but growing the characters is the biggest thing that I think the next Aquaman movie should be about."

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom opens in theaters on Dec. 20.
