US viewership numbers for the Ahsoka finale have been revealed.

According to Screen Rant, Ahsoka Season 1, Episode 8, "Part Eight: The Jedi, the Witch, and the Warlord," was watched by 863 thousand US households during its first five days on Disney+, placing the Ahsoka finale in between the finales of The Mandalorian Season 3 and Andor Season 1, which were watched by 1.5 million and 591 thousand US households, respectively. This means that the viewership of Ahsoka outpaced Andor by 46 percent, but trailed The Mandalorian Season 3 by 42 percent.

Ahsoka is set in the same period as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, following former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy following the fall of the Empire. The Disney+ series acts as a spiritual fifth season of the animated show Star Wars Rebels, featuring the live-action debuts of several characters including Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger.

Lars Mikkelsen also appears as Grand Admiral Thrawn, reprising the role after voicing the character in Star Wars Rebels. Other actors that appear in Ahsoka include Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth and Evan Whitten as Jacen Syndulla.

Are There Plans for Ahsoka Season 2?

While there have reportedly been discussions about renewing Ahsoka for a second season on Disney+, nothing has been officially announced yet at this time. Back in April 2023, The Hollywood Reporter noted that another season of Ahsoka would depend on the performance of the first season. Rumblings of a second season of Ahsoka first emerged in February 2023 during Disney's Q1 earnings report when fans noticed that Disney was internally listing the Star Wars series with a "(Season 1)" marker. Until that point, fans had assumed Ahsoka was going to be a limited series, similar to The Book of Boba Fett.

Dave Filoni Developing Star Wars Crossover Movie

Many Star Wars fans also believe that Ahsoka's dangling storylines will be resolved in Dave Filoni's upcoming Star Wars movie, which is rumored to be an adaptation of the Star Wars Legends novel Heir to the Empire. The movie, which was announced during Star Wars Celebration 2023, will serve as a "climactic" crossover for The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. In Heir to the Empire, the New Republic wages war against Grand Admiral Thrawn to stop him from reviving the Empire.

Ahsoka, The Mandalorian and Andor are available to stream on Disney+.
