The following contains spoilers for DC/RWBY #3 from DC Comics.

Batgirl/Barbara Gordon and Catwoman/Selina Kyle both get unique superpowers in a preview for the latest chapter of the DC/RWBY crossover.

DC/RWBY #3 comes from writer Marguerite Bennett, artist Soo Lee, colorist Marissa Louise and letterer Morgan Martinez. In the current crossover series, the world of RWBY has collided with the DC Universe after a bunch of monsters called Grimm leave Remnant and begin wreaking havoc in Gotham City. The journey to stop the Grimm has led the heroes to Arkham Asylum, where they learned the Joker had merged with Nuckelavee.

DC/RWBY #2 explained that RWBY's presence in the DC Universe have also given some characters unexpected superpowers. "In our world -- Remnant -- those with souls have semblances, a special -- well I suppose you'd call it a superpower, "Team RWBY told Batman in the issue. "As the Grimm -- the horrible black-and-white monsters from our world -- spread, they're contaminating people with the natural laws of Remnant. Such as the possession of a semblance." Batman's new power allows him to anticipate certain events and attacks before they actually happen, while Alfred (who is currently still dead in DC's main continuity following the events of Batman #77 by Tom King, Mikel Janin, and Tony S. Daniel) received the ability to manifest whatever he needs out of thin air.

What Are Catwoman and Batgirl's New Superpowers?

A preview provided by DC for DC/RWBY #3 reveals Catwoman and Batgirl also now have superpowers thanks to RWBY's presence. Batgirl explains she can now touch any object or item and immediately understand its history. "Ruby, you built this scythe when you were fourteen, with the help of your Uncle Qrow," she demonstrates. Catwoman, meanwhile, shows off her new ability to replicate objects. "I could have infinite diamonds without stealing one!" she tells Batman. "Where's the fun, other than tanking the world economy?" Nightwing, too, says he's been given powers; however, his appear to be limited to "inspiration."
