The Story Continues With Shaman King: Flowers

The original Shaman King manga followed 13-year-old slacker Yoh as he competed with and against other shamans in the Shaman Fight, a tournament held every 500 years to determine who should rule with the Great Spirit as the next Shaman King. The original 2001 anime series was co-produced by TV Tokyo, NAS and Xebec. It ran for 64 episodes from July 4, 2001, to Sept. 25, 2002, and was later dubbed for North America by the now-defunct 4Kids company. The 2021 anime reboot follows the source material more closely and ran for 52 episodes, beginning on April 1, 2021, and ending on April 21, 2022.

The series finale teased the announcement of Shaman King: Flowers and revealed the new adult looks of its original cast. Shaman King (2021) is available for streaming on Netflix. Shaman King Original Series (English Language) Blu-ray is available from Discotek Media.

Shaman King: Flowers will premiere in Jan. 2024.
