The beginning nine minutes of the fourth Girls und Panzer das Finale anime movie have been officially uploaded online.

Emotion Label's official YouTube channel uploaded the early minutes of the latest Girls und Panzer movie in celebration of its recent release in Japan. As with the previous Girls und Panzer das Finale movies, the opening anime theme is "Never Say Goodbye" by Japanese singer ChouCho. The fourth anime movie continues the storyline of Ōarai Girls High School competing against Continuation High School, following the shocking elimination of the Anglerfish Team in the Winter Continuous Track Cup.

Girls und Panzer das Finale is a six-part film series based on the 2012 anime TV series. Four of the released anime films have been directed by series director Tsutomu Mizushima. Girls und Panzer's script supervisor Reiko Yoshida is credited as the writer of the recent films.

The first Girls und Panzer das Finale anime movie was released in 2017. The sequels were released two years after each other: Part 2 in 2019, Part 3 in 2021 and Part 4 in 2023. Production of the third Girls und Panzer das Finale occurred during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020. Mizushima tweeted about the film's complicated development caused by the pandemic.

Girls und Panzer is a popular anime franchise about of group of high school girls competing in tank warfare as a sport. The military tanks featured in the series are based on the real-world tanks used in World War II. In addition to the anime TV show and films, there are various Girls und Panzer manga spinoffs, anthologies, light novels and video games.

The Girls und Panzer anime series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, HIDIVE and Prime Video. Part 4 of the Girls und Panzer das Finale anime movie is currently airing in Japanese theaters. A release date for Part 5 has yet to be announced.
