With the season premiere of Loki Season 2 just days away, executive producer Kevin Wright has assured fans that Jonathan Majors' arrest did not impact his role as Victor Timely in the highly anticipated series.

Speaking to Variety, Wright explained that Majors' legal troubles were a non-issue due to how the new episodes were filmed. "This is the first Marvel series to never have any additional photography. The story that is on screen is the story we set out to make. We went out there with a very specific idea of what we wanted this to be, and we found a way to tell it in that production period. It's very much what's on screen on Disney+."

When asked if there were any discussions about changing Loki Season 2 following the allegations against Majors, Wright explained that it was never considered. "No," he said. "And that mainly came from - I know as much as you do at the moment - it felt hasty to do anything without knowing how all of this plays out." Majors will appear as Victor Timely in the new episodes of the show. The character is a variant of Kang the Conqueror, who works as an industrialist inventor in the early 1900s.
