Award-winning actor Rosamund Pike plays Moiraine Damodred, the Aes Sedai who sought out the Dragon Reborn and sacrificed everything after finding him. At the end of Season 1, Moiraine appeared to have lost her ability to channel the One Power along with the purpose that has driven her so far. Josha Stradowski portrays the Dragon himself, Rand al'Thor. Fearing that he's a danger to his loved ones, he left them to believe he was dead and set off on his own.
